康考迪亚大学 is committed to developing and maintaining a campus that enhances human health and safety and fosters responsible urban environmentalism and 可持续性. The campus green initiative is driven by a theological understanding that God has created the world and entrusted stewardship of its resources to mankind (创世记1:26-28，诗篇8:6-8). The university will strive to provide employees and students with the knowledge and skills needed to be environmentally responsible. To that end, 康考迪亚大学 is committed to continuous improvement in responsible urban environmentalism through a green initiative guided by the following principles.

Green Initiative Guiding Principles

1. Develop and maintain institutional practices that promote responsible urban environmentalism, including programs to increase efficiency and use of renewable resources and lower production of waste and hazardous materials, both in Concordia's own operations and 在它的供应商那里.
